Text Box: HELLO and welcome to BODY MOVING DANCE, Melbourne Australia! We offer Creative Wellbeing Programs that are fresh, fun and unique for the public, schools, organisations and the community. BODY MOVING DANCE connects Creative Movement Programs with a Wellbeing Focus in the areas of Values Education and a Healthy Life. Developing SELF ESTEEM and exploring areas of WELLBEING through DANCE, DRAMA, DRUMMING AND MORE ! Programs Include: IKI MAGIC – Values Based Fitness Program combining Martial Arts, Dance, Aerobics and Creative Conceptions. DRUMBEAT – Exploring issues of Identity and Feelings through the beat of an African Drum Class! DANCE – Get your Body Moving with a number of Dance programs! Self Expression, Body Image, Gender Relationships, Team Work! DRAMA – Put yourself in someone else’s shoes and ACT UP! Middle Years Drama, Integrated Curriculum Drama. Creative Director, Simone Sky.

· Graduated from Deakin University in 2000 with a Bachelor Degree in Arts (Contemporary Dance/Drama) and Education (Primary and Secondary).

· Developed BODY MOVING DANCE offering Modern Dance Classes and Workshops to schools, organisations and the community in 2002.

· Performing Arts School Teacher in Primary and Secondary School Settings from 2002.

· Certificate 4 in Fitness Qualification          (Fitness Leader / Personal Trainer)  2007.

· DRUMBEAT Music Therapy Instructor 2007

We strive toward providing a professional and encouraging service at all times

to promote happy, healthy and balanced lives.
